…and as someone who avidly dislikes Joseph Gorden Levitt I can honestly say it was a good movie. It was very well written and JGL didn’t ruin it, even with his stupid fucking skinny tie that they had to write into the movie. I wonder if that’s in his contract.
The Dark Knight Rises was over-hyped, about as much as Prometheus I’d say. Good movie, but a tad overly dramatic and the ending was kind of lame. Like Prometheus, it tried to convey too much in too short an amount of time and wound up lacking certain details. I really hope there’s not a follow-up because the franchise has started to buy into its own hype and lost some of its quality.
